Carol Hu was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1981. She received her formal art education at Mason Gross School of the Arts and a B.A. in Art History from Rutgers University. For the past decade, Hu has consistently been a part of the background scene in galleries and museums in the New York area.
She has been painting since she could hold a brush and has expressed her creativity through paint on canvas. Her paintings are often described as light hearted and ethereal.
She currently lives and works in the New York area.
Her work has been featured in New York Magazine, Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, The Washington Post, Chelsea Now, Housetrends, and D Magazine.
